Monsters, Inc. (or just said as Monsters, Incorporated) is a 2001 American computer-animated comedy movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. That includes the voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, James Coburn, and Jennifer Tilly, the movie was directed by Pete Docter in his directorial debut, and executive produced by John Lasseter and Andrew Stanton as Pixar’s 4th characteristic movie. The movie premiered on October 28, 2001, at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California. It was theatrically released on November 2, 2001, in the USA, in Australia on December 26, 2001, and in the UK on February 8, 2002.

Docter started creating the movie in 1996 and wrote the story with Jill Culton, Jeff Pidgeon, and Ralph Eggleston. Stanton composed the screenplay with screenwriter Dan Gerson. The characters went through many incarnations over the movie’s five-year production process. The technical team and animators found new ways to render fur and material realistically for the movie. Randy Newman, who composed the music for Pixar’s three prior movies, returned to compose its fourth. A prequel titled Monsters University, which was directed by Dan Scanlon, was released on June 21, 2013, while a tv series/sequel titled Monsters at Work premiered on Disney+ on July 7, 2021. Celia Mae (Schmoopsie Poo)

Celia Mae is a major character in Monsters, Inc.. She is Mike Wazowski’s girlfriend. Celia is the previous receptionist at Monsters, Inc., which means she takes calls by monsters and may click buttons for monster voicemail. Celia usually calls Mike “Googley Bear” and “Googley Woogley” calls Sulley “Sulley-Wulley”, Mike usually calls her “Schmoopsie-poo” and Sulley, in return, calls her “Celia-Weelia”.

Celia is seven feet tall and has lavender skin, 5 purple snakes for hair, seven tentacles (two as arms, and 5 as legs), a green sequin mini dress with a scaleprint design, a blue-green vulture-like ruff around her neck, and a single aquamarine blue eye on her face. Celia has two things in common with her boyfriend: they each have one eye (at least on the face), and may each fly into rage when angry. Their eyes are additionally of comparable colours.
