What’s Election?

Election is the formal course of choosing an individual for the public workplace or accepting or rejecting a political proposition by voting. It is a very important distinction between the form and the substance of elections. In some instances, electoral types are current but the substance of an election is missing, as when voters don’t have a free and real choice between at least two options. Election Day is observed on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, taking place on November 8 this year.
